Z/28 #16 @ Hendrick Chevy (Buford, GA)

Stopped by Hendrick in Buford GA this afternoon and saw this beauty sitting on the lot...the first one I've seen in person. They've had it for about a week...said a guy started paperwork to buy it, but cancelled the deal after he found out it has 18 miles on it. ~$83K

I looked at it the 27th so its been sitting outside longer than a week. Wonder if they had fixed the left rear tire that had a huge screw puncture. Ouch. Don't look much different than my 1LE and the 427 motor is nothing new. Guess I just don't get the buzz regarding the Z. The ZL1 seems like a much better car to get at a cheaper price.

You meant to type "but cancelled the deal after he found out it costs 83k and he stopped drinking after a long weekend".
Fixed it!

It was fixed - he said they had to pay $500 for a new tire. If I had the $$$, I'd definitely buy it as a track car (road course).

You are either kidding or have no idea what the Z/28 is.

I've seen pictures of the Z/28 before seeing this one in person, but somehow didn't realize how much the front tires stick out even with the extensions.

That's camarospeak for "I can't afford it, so in order to justify my purchase, I need to publicly degrade it to make myself feel better."

Z/28 #16 @ Hendrick Chevy (Buford, GA)

I love the sticker how it states 2 out of 10 for fuel economy. 15mpg average. Looks like what my trailblazer SS got before I traded it in for the camaro
