Anyone De-Badge (Removed Logos, Stickers) Their ZL1 ?

Some of us don't like vehicle badges, stickers and logos so I was wondering who removed their Chevy emblems, ZL1 logos, etc? How does it look?

Pics?

Thx.

I did my ss completely. I loved it. They didn't charge me anything. I had the dealership do it while it was getting serviced. I plan to take off "camaro" on the fenders of my zl1

Questions:

1. Has anyone removed all Badges completely?
2. Is it possible to remove all Badges without the body being damaged or showing holes?

Thx.

Can you take a picture of that. I think I like what I can see in the first picture. Need a close up :-)

You can completely debadge the car without any holes except for the front bowtie. The front bowtie is held on by clips on the back which have slots on the center pillar behind the bowtie.

As for damaging the paint, it depends on how you remove them. If you use a low powered heat gun and slowly warm the glue up you can, sometimes, just pull them off. If, you go with the dental floss method you should be ok but will rip the hell out of your hands. If you go fishing line there is the potential to mar the paint. Any glue residue can be removed with goo gone.

I was able to debadge everything but the front ZL1 and bow tie. I blacked those out. No damage or scratches. Used the fish line and heat gun method.

BUT...... I got tired of people thinking I had an SS so I ended up buying all black badges and plan to put them on this week or next. Instead of the original Camaro on the fender, going with black 69 retro style emblem.

G-Oil Guy: How can I remove the front Bowtie and ZL1 emblem without damaging the grill?

Or I can remove the grill all together? Might look ugly tho!

Thx.
