Help car won’t turn on after torque converter
I just got a 3000 stall converter installed and it was running fine when I got it after 1 hour of driving a engine light came on with abs and stability track and all my gauges also stopped working. My car wouldn’t shift out of 1st gear. Whenever I looked at the engine light on my SCT Tuner it said General Error 21000. Now my car won’t crank at all.

Update now when I try to crank it it acts like the battery is dead but all the gauges and everything work perfectly fine and the battery isn’t bad.

Reminds me of the time I let a wire get pinched between the block and bellhousing.

Yes indeed it's time for a new battery regardless of how you have determined that your battery is 'ggod'.
With age and all the electronic stuff in our cars, when a battery ages, they cause all sorts of strange things happening. |

Have a load test done on the battery. Mine was still cranking the car fine but I had some of the “time for a battery” indicators. These cars will tell you when you need to freshen up the battery. A load test tells it all, mine went flat about the time he hit the switch on the load tester.

I'd throw a new battery in. Even if that isn't the problem you need one anyway.

For peace of mind, and most likely to fix your problems, get a new battery. Lots of members here with issues like yours and it solved their problems. Mine worked fine up until the day it died. Was at a buddies shop, had to move my car for a customer. Back out onto the street and installed it, I know I know, car would not start. Battery went completely flat. In my buddies 40 years of owning a shop he has never seen a battery take a sudden hit like that. Luckily I was at the shop, would not wanted to get stranded.

Battery voltage isn't a good indicator of a batteries capacity.

I'd listen to these guys about the new battery . I've only been here a short time , but I can't tell you how many threads I've seen with exactly the same symptoms and a new battery fixed it !!!

Most likely the battery but a poor ground can cause this too. Regardless it's time for a new battery anyway.
