Talking Z lovers, don't worry

so this is called the zl1 (which makes sense in terms of power) no reason to bash it because it not called a z28 because just in a year the z28 will probably be out if not earlier than a year. Why do i say that? because, the camaro trims seemed based on the transformers movies for example: the concept bumblebee is our beloved v6 while in transformers 2 its the zl1, so after seeing how the styling of bumblebee in t3 is I'm sure that its the z28 *jay leno* it makes perfect sense.

but I think GM is gunna build the Z28 to compete for the Boss 302.

but the boss is a waste of money IMO. my friends 5.0L with some mods is already faster then the boss. if the z/28 turns out like the boss then that will be a waste to i feel like. it would have been so epic to see that z/28 with a supercharger

I still expect a Z28, especially after the discussion pointed out that there isn't anything in the Boss-fighting spot. The GM reps acknowledged that point and suggested that they might be interested in going that route in their classic, cryptic way.

I don't think the Boss 302 is a waste of money at all. I personally think that's its reasonably priced.

IMO you can't compare the Boss to a 5.0 because there's allot of features the Boss have that the 5.0 doesn't. Like for example the Recaro Racing Seats, Dual Mode Exhaust, Track Ready Suspension, and a factory Race Tune. thats just a couple feature the Boss have that the 5.0 doesn't. and the best part you get all that with a Full Factory warranty.

I don't think a moded/stock 5.0 will be faster than a moded/stock Boss 302.

The Z/28 should be a car with 475HP, suspension capable of over 1g, weight reduction, lighter rims, great braking, short throw shifter, special seats, new hood/spoiler, full length racing stripes mandatory, (like convertible concept) splitters, wider tires, special exhaust, and anything else to make it a true attainable top-level drivers car. That right there is enough to make people forget about the Boss and run to the Z28.

Im pretty sure theyll be going after the BOSS and heck you never know, it might actually be the twin turbo 6 like the leno car

A nice LS7 in a Z28 would rock. Do not supercharge it but have be full of low end torque for road racing. And put a great track handling package on it. Would then put a price right between the SS and ZL1.
