I am eventually getting a track only 18" setup with NT05Rs I think, but once the tread on my current tires run out then I will be going to NT555R's for my DD.

If for any reason I cannot hook (which I dont think will be an issue honestly since its my DD and will only be played with occasionally) then I will let a little air out lol.

These are brand new tires so they will proably get ran into the ground.

You are right at the same RWHP that I am at. I light up the NT555Rs at 100 MPH believe me they won't hook ever on the street. I have ran them for years and they were fine up to about 650RWHP at close to 800 nope no go. I am not sure what I am going to do long term, for now I just keep finding every excuse to drive around on slicks. The spring will force a decision for sure because I drive my car a lot. Right now I am considering my ET Street radials that do fairly good. Hope I can get 4,000 miles out of a set but it is driving in the rain that bothers me the NT555Rs do fine but the ET Streets stink in the rain. Good luck if you find something please let me know.

I'm running 18" Welds with ET Street IIs 305/45/18. I can roll into first and it hooks and goes. The rain is the issue but I don't take it out when it rains . I heard that the Pilot Sport Cup Tires can be driven in the rain ok.

I am running welds wih slicks and skinnies, I am actually thinking about buying another set of 17" welds for daily driving and running the M&H Racemaster 325/45R17s for the rear. I have a set of the M&H Racemasters 275/50R17s with about 4 passes on them I am going to try and see how they do in the rain first. Have no idea on how they would last on the street but I think that would be my prefered setup until some other tire sizes become available.
