Habitat for Humanity of Marist College - Car Show April 2nd

As of tonight Monday, March 28th the Car Show is still on for Saturday. But due to the weather forecast for the remainder of the week including Saturday we are looking at Sunday(original rain date) as being a strong possibility.

The Car Show Team will assess the situation on Thursday and again on Friday. A FINAL decision regarding the entire weekend will be made by 5:00pm on Friday. If you have any questions or concerns please email marist.habitat@gmail.com

Good evening,

Habitat for Humanity of Marist College has decided to cancel the Car Show Fundraiser on Saturday and Sunday(rain date) due to the inclement weather that will effect the entire tri-state region tonight and tomorrow. Although the outlook for the weekend is good, many of the vehicles that will be traveling to Marist will be coming from areas where the weather will have a far greater impact.

A lot of hard work went into this event and it would be a shame for us to not try again in the future. At this time we do not have a date for rescheduling the show. The decision to cancel was not made lightly and while disappointing, this extra time does give us a chance to improve on what will ultimately be a fantastic event for all.

Habitat for Humanity of Marist College would like to thank everyone involved and we look forward to seeing all of you at our future events. If you have any questions please contact the Club Officers and Advisors at habitat.club@marist.edu

This is my first time using the forum. I was recommended by a friend from NYSPEED.com.

I sell cars at a local Chevy dealer here in Western, NY. I know alot of people have been waiting to see the new Camaro Convertible so I just thought I would throw some pictures on here of one we just got in off the truck. It's pretty sweet....
