Well that's a pretty cool builder!
I thank you VERY much for putting that up for all to use! Great thinking! |

1SS 2SS difference
What is the difference in equipment between the 1SS and 2SS packages?
I wasn't sure if I wanted the halo lights, but last night I saw a new Charger with them and they're sooo.. cool. I want them. |

So I'm guessing it's leather with the ambient lighting package?

Okey, who's builder is right? As stripped down as I can get the Camaro here it comes in at $31535 for a 1SS. Now on CamaroZ28.com I built the same car and it came in at $32548. Unfortunately both are still out of my safety range after taxes.

A base ("stripped down as I can get") 1SS is 30995 with destination. It should be that way everywhere. |

Wheel Options
JD, very cool of you to go through all this work for us. I tried your builder sheet but one glitch I believe. We ordered our RS/SS-2 last wednesday and our salesman showed us on his computer that you cannot get the polished 20" wheels with the RS package, only the painted 19". My wife and I do not like any of the rim choices to begin with, but I would definitley take polished over painted until we find the rims that we want.

Wish Chevy had a similar customization tool to what Scion uses on their site. Has a lil virtual 3D representation of the car and adds on whatever parts you select, can even open the doors and trunk/hood and stuff, really cool. This is nice though, least I can get a good estimate of how much I'll need to save :-)

All I can say is this is great!!!!!
Awesome site CAMARO5!!!! great info/pics and member knowledge helped me get off my butt and order mine. I have been following the site and reading the threads for some time and wanted to thank you ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know why I waited so long to join. Can't wait for camaro lovers to take deliver of their new cars and start seeing those pics/threads. Going to be a great spring- I won't bog down this thread with a newbie reply but again wanted to say THANK YOU!!!! Later Rico

It'll be $32285 WITH destination.
Both builders were correct. Ours didn't included destination in the displayed price. So if you add 750 to $31535... I dunno what you did on the other one...I have a feeling that you checked another option somewhere by accident. Because I just did it, and it came out correct. |

Can anyone tell me where the remote start system sits? Is it an option on the 1LT and 1SS or is it only available for the 2LT and 2SS? Or is it part of the convenience and connectivety package? Ive seen a bunch of conflicting info on all the options/pricing files.
