There is nothing to change in the tune unless you change the module also. Running just the ZL1 pump, you just drop it in and go.

Seems so simple but there is a bit to think about.
Let me set it straight. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these. All of these are ZL1 swapping into an SS fuel pump. ZL1 pump swap with no tune. Pump will run same as stock pump. No more flow/pressure? ZL1 pump swap with tune? More flow/pressure? ZL1 pump swap with a BAP and no tune? What will the BAP do at this point? ZL1 pump with tune and BAP? Should be about 50% more flow. ZL1 swap with FPCM swap and tune? Obviously the best but is it more flow than the BAP? Obviously all are WOT full run. I wish I knew what exactly the FPCM was benefiting. If Lingenfelter uses a KB BAP with it then it must be pretty decent. NO, not at 800 crank power but surely 700? What does this mean? Quote:

Zl1 pump in stock SS: modest increase in flow. Not pressure.
Zl1 pump with module and no tune: same as above. Zl1 pump without module and tune or no tune: same as above. Zl1 pump with module and tune: the ADM module allows PWM modulation of the pump to increase flow and pressure as demand increases, as in the factory application. ZL1 pump with BAP: the BAP increases VOLTAGE with a boost reference internal to the BAP. |

Well I guess I may do a module but first try and see if the BAP keeps up. ZL1 pump is already in and BAP is already there so I should have some good flow once tuned. If not I"ll do the ADM module. There is another one out there too that my builder told me about. JMS Powermax fuel pump booster. |

The ZL1/BAP will probably flow more than a ZL1/ADM module combo. I've never personally seen a ZL1 pump with both a module and BAP. I'm definitely not saying it is really a big deal, but some I have dealt with were concerned with pump life at the higher voltages produced by the BAP, so the module is an option for those people.

ADM FPCM, when car is tuned for it, boosts pressure at 4K rpm and above. It is a modified ZL-1 FPCM. Without the tune, it behaves like an OE FPCM with no benefit.
There were numerous threads with HPT logs that show fuel pressure increases. I use the ZL1 pump, ADM FPCM, and KB BAP. KB BAP w/OE SS pump, couldn't keep up fuel pressure at 10 PSI boost with my KB 2.8. Mine was dropping to 48-49 PSI. Left the BAP since it was pre-wired in the trunk. Added the pump and FPCM and everything is good. Not planning to go over 650 RWHP, the suggested safe limit. |

You should be good. You just need the fuel setup to provide enough fuel to provide about 70 psi of rail pressure and enough volume for your motor. The ZL1 pump and BAP should do that.
