CEL

I have a 2013 M6, and up until yesterday it has been flawless. I have a roto-fab intake and a vmax throttle body, and catch can installed.
Yesterday, it started to rain a little, and the CEL came on. My car has almost never been in rain, because I usually only drive it when I want to.
There is no reduction in power, and all the gauges show OK.
Also, the fuel tank is on about 40 miles to empty...the only other change.

Ironically..I took it in 2 weeks ago and got the oil changed and the diff changed out...and have only driven about 100 miles since.

Should I go get an OBD II scanner? I just HATE taking my cars to the dealership.

Take it to Auto Zone or similar and have them read the code for free. You have a warranty for a reason, have the dealer take a look.

Also put some fuel in it, not good for pump and floats ...

Take the VMAX out unless you tune it.

Well...that's interesting that you say that. I have had it in for 2500 miles, done lots of 'spirited driving', and it has done fine. What would cause it to do this now? The humididty with the rain? I wondered if the sensors were going off because more humidity was getting to the air intake with the rotofab...what da ya think?

Why do you say that?

I would ask the same question. I pulled the codes and it is P015B..delay in O2 sensor..leans to rich.
I have driven the car with the Rotofab and Vmax on it for 2500 with absolutely no problems. It seems odd that it would pull a code now. That's why I asked about the humidity with the rain.

Also, wouldn't it tend to run lean with the vmax and rotofab on board if it was going to do anything?

+1
Rotofab by itself ....good ...
ported tb by itself...good ...
Both together, to much air, need a tune... not Okay..
Ported tb on a pretty much stock ZL1 equals 99.9 percent hype.
