What would be the best and yet safest setup for nos?
well i have been thinking of going on turbo but as of right now...thats not a stable choice. so therefore im going Nos
Right now i have K&N intake Kit MRT 1.0 Axle Back and what i am thinking of getting A nos Kit made for the camaro from either ZEX or NOS. ( which one is better? more reliable ? better Service? ) 3" piping from the header back to the mrt 1.0 either remove the h pipe and put a X pipe and remove senators or keep h pipe and remove senators. ( i dont know which one to do. which one would be better? or a better setup? ) ( i dont want raspy ) ( i like gargling it does and such :3 ) Forsure im going to have to go BBK headers LT. which material? idk? point me out? then i know im going to have check engine lights and such. so here my plan and i have a question if anyone could answer it.... trfiecta tune is the only tune right now so thats my choice no questions asked. but here is my question. can i have multiple tunes? this is what i was thinking. 1) stock 2) Eco Gas Saver type ( on reg gas ) 3) 93 tune ( with the whole setup and one without bottle ) 4) E85 Tune ( with the whole setup and one without bottle ) that is the setup in my mind? any advice or comments on it ? anything im missing? also how can i run it so its sneak you can really see it and also how do i maintain it and such. cleaning the engine and all that. another thing what would i need to do to the car itself so it run properly without a problem. daily driver? another question. what can these engine hold? 75? 100? 125? |

One of the things you need to understand is the nitrous jet combos are set up for gasoline. If you decide to run e85 with the n20 the jet combos will be changed and the fuel jets will have to increase a bit. There's a lot of guys who can talk you in the right direction.
Removing the resonators without replacing them with another resonator type will give more rasp/drone with the longtubes. BBK has the ceramic coated that still look beautiful a year later on my car. They also have stainless, but unless they get coated they will not help so much with the underhood heat. Hdrs got his run with 125hp jets and no tune I believe.

It has less to do with the brand name and more to do with two simple things.
Quality parts, and some good tech knowledge. For keeping it safe, the best option is to go ahead and buy some of the safety components that go with your nitrous system. http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...=23§ion=78 This is a inline Nitrous filter. It stop contaminants and trash that can clog jets and solenoids. Usually these come from mother bottles that are years old and have 100's of "fills" on them http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...=24§ion=95 Fuel pressure safety switch. This switch once set properly, will deactivate the system if for some reason the fuel pump does not keep up and pressure drops. Both of these are around 50$ and are great insurance. There are a few other thing's that help as well. Mostly in getting a good safe tuneup. Things that a company with good tech support and tuning knowledge can help with. If you would like to give me a call, the number here at the shop is 254-848-4300. Also I can be PM'ed here on the board as well. |
