Boy this is fun most sales people have no clue how it works ..ive been calling around this morning ..currently i have a dealer saying he has 4 2014 allocations we will see..

I had one dealer tell me i shoujld buy a Zl1 because that was the performance car...and faster than the Z and what great tires the Zl1 has over the Z28..(i didnt bother to explain anything} LOL

One dealer I called last year about the Z/28 said, "Oh, that's a Nissan. You need to call a Nissan dealer."

Sales can be a financially rewarding position, but you have to pay your dues and put in the time to learn your product. It doesn't matter if you are selling cars or applesauce. The shuck and jive routine was always a turnoff to those who knew their stuff, and "knowing your stuff" has never been more accessible than in the Internet age. Why these salespeople do not invest their time in learning their products can only be attributed to the lazy management who permit their sales personnel to remain ignorant.

Yeah,most dealers should just install revolving doors for the sales dept.I think that most don't want to invest time learning the product line,because they have no intentions of being there for a long time.And they can just go ask the sales mgr.when they don't know something.The dealer I go to says he has an allocation for 2 15's,but I'm going to double check that.
