The JUNKMAN code is always good for 10% off. The SPRING2010 code is good through March 31 for 15% off. (You cannot combine codes though.)

I ordered my CAI today. I got this one:
http://www.coldairinductions.com/car...roducts_id=875

It has been getting rave reviews from other forum members. This will be my first performance mod.

A group of us from Ohio are getting together next Sunday and some of the guys are going to help me install it then.

I also got a quote from IPS Motorsports this week to have them install a Pfadt Sport Suspension Package+:
http://www.ipsmotorsports.net/produc...oducts_id=4288
This will lower my car about 1.25" and make it handle a bit better. Thanks to PQ for his help figuring this out!

I'm going to try to get an appointment this week to have that work done.

Got my bowties in the mail yesterday. I'll put them on this weekend.

Keith from clearbraohio.com put a 3M clear bra on my car. I can barely see it. I'm very pleased with it. I'll try to get some pics of it soon, but I'm not sure you'll see it in the pics.

Great! Did you get your side lights and taillights done also? And what tint did you get?Smoke?or? I would like to see some pics if possible before I order mine as I am worried about the man hassling me about the smoke tint taillights.I have a local ,county, and a state police post(lucky me ha!) all in my town which I have go to and drive thru most everyday. Thanks

buzzy56:
I just had the clear bra installed today. That is just a protective clear film to prevent rock chips.

I am having the windows tinted and the lights done on April 8. I'll post up pics then.

I know the light tinting might be a tad pushing it on the legality side, but I figure it this way: I've never had a speeding ticket and I don't plan to speed in my Camaro. I put the front plate on the car to keep "the man" happy (with a no-drill bracket though). I'm going with 35% tint on my windows (not 5% or 20% - even though 50% is the law in Ohio, I think 35% will be acceptable if I don't give them other reasons to stop me.) As far as tinting the lights, I am planning to run with my lights on most of the time (at lease if I see an officer). I'm not sure they'll really see notice the tinting on the lights if I have them on.

I figure, I drive a Camaro. Maybe I want to be a little bit bad. ("C'mon officer, when you think of all the evil things one can do with this car, this really is pretty harmless...")

CAI intake installed today. OMG! I love it! Big thanks to 1 RD JEWL for his help. I love the CAI! It makes a marked improvement in response when I hit the gas and it makes a very throaty growl under throttle. I'm very pleased.

My CGM bow ties from Garyscustomz.com are also on. I'll post up some pics when I get a chance.

Thanks, Michael_Js.

Soon to come:
I've ordered my Kooks LT headers and I'm waiting for the Pfadt sway bars to come in at IPS Motorsports. I'm going to have them put in the headers and the Pfadt sport suspension+ package (lowering springs, sway bars, and end links).

Window tint and blacking out the taillights coming soon too.

I gave IPS Motorsports a deposit yesterday for my suspension package and the Kooks headers. They had actually already ordered the parts, but I offered to give them a deposit. The sway bars are on back order, but should be in by tomorrow. So, maybe next week the suspension (Pfadt drop springs, sways, and end links) can go in next week. The Kooks 1 7/8" LT catted headers should come in about 2 weeks.

I drove my Camaro to work this morning and, for some reason, the stereo would not sync with my iPod. It was working fine yesterday. I read in a thread that there may be a software patch for my radio that will fix this problem. So, I called the dealer and I'll drop my car off in the morning for them to figure it out. I'll report back tomorrow evening to report what they find.

I really love being able to listen/control my iPod through the stereo in the car. The sound is really good. So, I hope they can figure it out.

If I'm not mistaken, jrhaus was having the same problem with his iPod a long time ago.

The dealer said the MMIM (multimedia interface module) has failed and needs to be replaced in my car. They ordered it and said they hope to have it in by the middle of next week.
