Did the 14’s & 15’s Zl1’s have heated steering wheel as a option

I bought a 2018 Tahoe and saw it had that option and I thought what a useless option. I use the damn thing every morning. haha

If I'm not mistaken someone installed one from either a new Z06 or ZR1, whichever has heated , into a Gen5 ZL1 ...

Yeah I remember a post awhile back that someone took the 6th gen wheel and put it on the 5th gen for the heated option. It didn't seem like it took a whole lot more effort than the seperate wire to power the heat function. Of course you would need the airbag from a 6th
