I am slowly going to upgrade my system, i am not looking to go all out but would like better sound. I think at this point I would like to keep my stock speakers and start with the amp. I like my head unit and don't plan to replace it.

Can I get a plug and play amp set up? I have googled it but everything I am reading gets off course, I would like an amp that will work with stock and future aftermarket speakers.

If you have the Boston Acoustics sound system in camaro it’s pretty easy, they make a plug and play harness to add an amp. They also have precut boards for you to mount an amp in the BA amp location to hide your amp. I went with sound ordnance for my amp for components, loud enough for me.

I tired pming you the company but it keeps getting stared out. Google search FARK for camaro and it should come up, the board / amp mount is also from the same vendor you have to look around on their site for it because it is not obvious

Is there any amp recommendations that are safe to use with factory BA Speakers and also for a good set of aftermarkets if I switch down the road?

I want a 4 channel amp?

On the sight for the adapter it says I loose my center speaker? Is this something that will be noticed?
When changing speakers down the road do I not replace the center speaker ( I am assuming that even aftermarkets won't work )

I run a sound ordnance amp its 75 watts x 4 channels. It’s loud enough for what I need. I still run the BA speakers as well. I run an aftermarket radio in mine and do not notice the center speaker gone.

depends on what you want. Personally,:

Morel, Mosconi, Helix, Brax, JL, Alpine R line (S is ok just cheap now)

Avoid:

Dual, Blaupunkt, Jensen, Rockwood etc cheap POS.

Williston audio labs on youtube is good at reviewing new and old stuff

I have the alpine pdx v5 5 channel amp. Small enough to fit in the factory amp space. Plus it has the extra channel just incase you want to add a sub later on.

I have a PDX-V9 id let go of. its not mint but its fully functional and plenty of oomph for most.

The v9 is a great choice too. Just way out of my price point when new.

Shes not new at all lol. It was taken in on trade when i removed it from a client's car. They went to Helix and now i own those same helix. This V9 i can let go of.
