I would love for you to substantiate those claims. Because honestly, unless you can prove that, its just propaganda.

Please show me ANY maggie, or any current LS based Whipple on a street car, that has a better torque curve than my 402LS2 with 2.8. This car also had FULL exhaust, with cats. It also legally passed smog on the first try.

This graph has been on KB's website for almost 4 years now.

800rwtq at 2100 RPMS does not show ANY issues with the 4x6 rotor design.

We FINALLY have a GTO being transported to us from FL. I thin its gonna start on its way next week, provided the owner follows through on his proise..
Sorry for the hijack.

Sorry, but Z rocks is spot on with this one. We have over 30 C6's now making over 700rwhp with 100% stock engines, some with cams. It is amazing how well they hold up, darn near incredible. If you told me ten years ago we would be able to do that I would say the same thing, so it's completely understandable.

Granted that will never happen with any roots or screw blower on a stock bottom end, but it can be done with a centrifugal.

Here is an example of a car that happens to be the fastest std C6 on the CF, and it has (and still has) it's stock engine in it with a blower cam. It makes 790 rwhp threw an automatic.

video. http://www.youtube.com/user/ECSRacin...29/Jx1AH-EnlhE

60' = 1.406
330= 3.931
660=6.214
MPH= 108.39
1000= 8.144
ET = 9.732
MPH = 143.17

The complete mod list;

ECS Novi 2200 Paxton kit with 8 rib upgrade.
ECS LS2 blower cam
ECS alky kit
ECS Fuel system
RPM level 5 trans
3600 stall converter
3.42 rear
American Racing headers

Everything else is 100% stock including the mufflers, and the vehicle is full weight, both stock seats etc etc etc.

Well, based on the 4x6 rotors, and horrible billet case, it prolly wont make more than 300rwhp..

I don't even think 1 person said such a thing. 4x6's are good for high rpm, not for low speed. As said before, was just clarifying that the extruded case is not machined from a solid piece as it was said.

Once you get pricing, I would like to get it, I think the next step is just to get some pricing down and make my decision from there, but since my Kenne Bell on my Mustang is still running hard, I think I might still go with them.

I can't wait!

Here's a almost stock motor, stock CI, stock L92 heads, upgraded rockers and a off the shelf junk cam, head gaskets and forged pistons for 9:1 compression. 91 octane, pump gas. Didn't load it below, but peak torque was at an even lower rpm. This is the 3.3L unit, with our original inlet and smaller IC (1" thinner) and plenuem was 1/4 of the current size.

They have always been spot on when I have been there. If you would lke, the dyno video is up on YT..

Question: What chassis dyno do you guys own at your facility in fresno? Does Whipple actually own their own Chassis dyno? I have heard from members that you do not own one, but since were conversing on this thread, i figured I'd ask you personally.

So you consider forged pistons/rods, custom cam, 10 rib system, and overdrive crank pulley, "Almost Stock".. Huh..
