I like the hood wrap in flat black, but so do a lot of local V6 mustangs which also black out the wheels and spoilers, so I did the Sema Performance and nascar pace car look

I think on the lighter colors the wrap looks good. If I had black or grey I think I'd take it off though.

Pulled it off after few months on my BVM 1LE. I didn't buy the car because the hood looked cool. The rest of the package making the car feel more aggressive than my 10 2SS/RS is why I went with the 1LE.

I like the wrap on mine. I was familiar with the 1LE option. I didn't order this car, and of course color is important, but I was truly interested in the car's handling capability and low production numbers. Local dealership only had one and I liked it. The black wrap (IMO) makes the yellow really stand out and doesn't overwhelm you. I added a thick black wrap stripe on the rear deck lid too. As SMN20111Z29 said, to each his own. It is what one probably notices first that distinguishes the car as a 1LE.
