5000$ deposit to get on order list
My dealer told me today that I have to put a 5000$ deposit to get on the order list!! Anyone else heard those kind of numbers? I would be # 3 on the list, just like DALE EARNHARDT!!!

The most I've heard of here in Denver is $2,000, but I found a dealer that took $500. Hope you find a more reasonable deposit. Good luck.

Funny, when I heard about the ZL1, went to the Sales/Inventory manager, told him I wanted one, color and fully loaded. He said, no problem we will get one and it's yours call you in March when it arrives. Nothing down. But I guess that's what you get for dealing with the same dealership for 23 years. Price, who cares.

I think youre an idiot ,check my profile, I have a 1967, 1980 Z/28 AND A2011 2SSS/RS AND A 71 Corvette, I have been working on these cars longer than most of you have been alive!! Was a simple question, sorry I dont post everyday!!

Nope. Not a troll, live on Vancouver Island. Used to have a C5 vette, when topless 2011's announced wife wanted one. Same thing, went to dealer, ordered full load SS convertible rallye yellow in Nov 2010 and got the car end of March 2011. I fell in love with it, ZL1 announced, back to dealer(see above post) and getting it in March/April 2012! Found this forum via FB. From some of posts I read, sounds like some dealers stringing people along or screwing them on these cars. OK? |

5000 seems a bit outlandish to me. Talk with Becky from Rodgers Chevrolet on here she can get you set up. I know that she can order the car and have a delivery at your local dealer. We did it all the time when I sold Corvettes all over he country.

I know most of the dealers around H-Town and 1k is the most I've ever heard of and they don't normally take that until your order goes in...
I can also get you on a list with nothing down...
