Something odd about this:/ only 2SS supposed to go export, Shouldn't be "easy to get" no matter.. ALL 8 seat variants will be released here SOON for US dealers.

While I appreciate the inside updates you give us, really I do but you've been saying "soon" for several months now.

Is it really so difficult to give an approximate time frame (hell I'd take what quarter of the year at this point) and an approximate range?

We're not asking for a hard commitment to availability and price

But "soon" and "pricey" doesn't help me plan my budget in order to get these.

Recaros are made in Germany so they are an export to the good old USA!

^Germany really....didn't know that. Shows how much I am really into racing seats. The recaros are still excellent!!! Dare I say "best" seat installation for "American" brand cars???...IMO.

Every preparation on RECARO's end has been completed, We have the seats... I'm pretty sure the ONLY thing left is some literature that is to included with them, once we have that we can jump through the last small hoop. The unofficial guess in July. I understand your frustration... Remind me of Fallout 4 facebook page. Tons of info.. nothing that pertains to when it's coming out. And what do you consider "Several" :P its been like 1 maybe 2 tops, lol.

Rat you are wrong sir, they are made in Auburn Hills michigan. There is a RECARO Germany that makes european seats, there's a RECARO JAPAN that makes.... you guessed it. And here at RECARO North America we make the Performance FORD Mustang , Cadillac CTS-V, Camaro, Aftermarket race shells, and some commercial vehicle seating, for use here in the USA.

My TBSS Recaro's have a tag "Made in Germany" (Not new seats)...

Well good to know! I saw the Top gear boys talking about the new Z/28 having German seats.

Thought as much. I saw your factory pics and description before. I did a wiki look up on Recaro months ago and I didn't recall a Germany headquarters location.

all I know is, if you bought a Camaro in the US, Your seats came from Auburn Hills. I can't speak to what a car in Germany or any other country for that matter. But yes we are German in heritage... And still part of a two fold greater whole, RECARO Germany and JCI...
