Thanks Texas_RS for the info...I figured the side wall would be a little softer but Will definitely look into purchasing them for normal driving conditions. Thanks again..

A higher sidewall and a staggered set up? I'm curious, doesn't this completely change the handling of the car? I take it it's for show and you don't track it?

You will have no issues with the 305 size on the rear. On the speedometer, I remember reading that it might be off by 1mph or less. Not enough for me to notice and no issues with my car.

I don't need it for aggresive handling since this is my daily driver. I take it for shows yes however I haven't taken it to the track because I want to get a set of wheels with MSS tires on them and have a square set up of 285 all around.

Car will be fine. With 305's the speedo will be off slightly, but not enough to get in trouble.

Being in Texas we don't get a lot of rain. This morning I drove to work like normal and didn't have any issues with all the rain we've had over the past several days. I like these BFG Comp II's

question about wheels n tires

Hey Gang, I was wondering about getting all season tires and a new set of rims for my new ride.

2015 2SS/RS/1LE

My stock rims are 20x8 in front and 20x9 rear

Tires are the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar G:2
Size 245/45/20 front 275/40/20 rear

so my questions are,

1. For rims can I use 20x9 on front n back and will this change how the car handles or should I find rims in the the stock size or go to a different size rim all together?

2. For tires to be honest I don't have a clue, I have been looking at everything not sure if I should go with the same size as the stock tires or go with a different size tire all together. What tires are a good all round all season tire to get ?? Also what size tires should I be looking for ??

Any suggestion or help would be wonderful !!

If you have a true 1LE (looks like it to me) then look on your "stock" tires and see what the size is. You should have 285/35/20 all the way around and 20x11 rims in the back and 20x10 rims in the front.

Judging by the snow in the background, I would either park it in the winter or get some good all seasons for winter. I have read the BFGoodrich A/S are good but i have no experience with them. As for summer, the stock tires are pretty good when its warm out, but not very good in wet/cold conditions.

Your stock rims should be 10" up front and 11" out back, those tire and rim sizes are stock SS specs, yours should be 285/35/20 all the way around

If you will be driving in snow, buy a set of used SS wheels (20x8 front 20x9 rear) i got mine for $400. Put a set of pirelli scorpion tires on them for the winter 245/45/20 front and rear.

Your 1LE has 285/35/20 tires all around and 20x10 wheels in front and 20x11 wheels in back. When the G2 (OEM tires) are worn, replace with 285/35/20 tire of your choice, all season or a summer spec tire (since you would have the winter set for the colder months)
