Can a PWM compatable pump be swapped in place of stock pump?
https://www.full-race.com/store/fabr...e85-fuel-pump/
Walbro makes a 450lph PWM compatible pump; is there any reason it wouldn't work as a drop in replacement? I believe the stock FPCM can deliver 20A; so that should be fine. Physical size maybe? Seems like a possile solution to get an extra 150HP over the stock ZL1 255. |

It should flow 355 liters/hour at those settings. I think it will do roughly 800whp on 93, maybe 850 or so with meth. |

Keep us updated!
Even if it does set an MIL couldn’t you just turn that code off in the tune and call it a day? Adding a small wet shot to my car in the next month or so and planning some sort of fuel pump upgrade at the same time so I’m very interested how this turns out. |

Any updates on this? I'm very interested in trying this as well and maybe even going with a vaporworks PWM controller which is good to 60a I think. Either way, should be able to just turn off the CEL if using the stock FPCM.
I know the stock bucket has a pressure relief/regulator at 58psi so that may make things difficult to achieve higher psi. I found that VaporWorks sells an adapter and 60psi "regulator" for the stock SS pump module but still not enough for boosted and/or e85 applications. I believe I've read of people blocking that off but since VaporWorks sells an adapter, maybe there's an adjustable regulator that can be made to fit. It would be nice to be able to buy these inexpensive pumps and have a decent setup without spending thousands of dollars. Technically one could run a VaporWorks controller (or stock flashed FPCM if current draw isn't an issue), mod the stock bucket, find a solution to the pressure relief deal and be on their way with a reliable setup. |

I’m pretty sure (if i am thinking of the right username) that he ended up with a dual pump solution in aftermarket bucket. He did use the fpcm to control the primary pump by turning the FP duty cycle up to max. The pwm signal at 99% kept the non pwm pump happy.
Search by his username.
