Getting my 2014 ZL1 next weekend

Extremely excited to purchase this car was wondering if there’s any key things to look out for or anything notorious for not coming with the vehicle. Would appreciate some veteran zl1 owners input and thanks in advance. Next week is gonna be the longest week of my life 😂

You're going to love it! Just check all the fluids (and tire pressure and brakes) and make certain the front spring spacers are removed (if installed) before driving.

10/4 thanks for the help I’ve also read something about some sort of bracket that goes in front of the front wheels? Also having hard time deciding if I want to void my warranty with modifications or wait it out.

There are two small air dams that the dealer is supposed to attach underneath and in front of each front wheel during PDI when the car is delivered to the dealer.

During this same PDI process, the dealer removes yellow front spring spacers that the factory inserts to increase the front ground clearance during shipping. The dealer is 'supposed' to keep them with the car in case they are needed at some future time if you need to have your car put on a flat bed hauler. Typically the dealer will leave them in the glove compartment, but don't hold your breath.

Make sure that you have the air winglets under the front splitter. You probably will, but that was a bone of contention with some owners that bought it new (me).

Other than that, make sure you have a good set of tires on it, buckle up and hold on!

well all went well got the zl1 sitting pretty at home, very mind blowing vehicle i cant help but to smile like a idiot the whole time cruising around town. also the rear tires didnt meet tread standards so the dealership is paying for brand new tires thinking of going with the Nitto NT555 G2 read a lot of good things on them.
