If I remember this is the 5th Gen ZL1 forum where you post to get potential questions answered by experienced ZL1 owners related to your ZL1 question.

I have a 350 amp Hairpin High Output Alternator 0 gauge wire to the Isolator goin to 2 AGM Batteries and multiple new Grounds across the chassis.
Voltage spikes to 15v.

Yeah as far as I know the electrical as related to battery and charging is the same on SS and ZL1 and what would or not work or mods.
Like talking about a bcm problem or generic ecm or wiring problems. Specific trans or differential or engine shortblock differences but those aren't typically discussed unless someone wants to know strength or how to put too much power into them until they fail then scratch their headsSome people just shouldn't mod their cars because they don't understand enough about how these computer controlled cars aren't like an old race car or musclecar. Not all mods are good mods.
But yes do every mod you come across and tell us

I don't get this. If you are asking for someone that knows what you are talking about already this thread is redundant.

I think you might create more problems than you would solve-some of the people installing lithium batteries in Camaros have had issues. The system was engineered around a 12 AGM setup-that's what I would stick with. You would be better of upgrading grounds and clean and apply NO-OX A Special to all primary connections. That will insure you have full voltage at all times. Some people use a dielectric instead of No-Ox. Dielectric means non conductive-it will prevent future corrosion but it is not ideal for electrical connections.

I must apologize for contributing to this thread without having knowledge of 14v systems. Just wanted to express my gratitude for this information. Once again in my senior years I find I was doing it wrong all along.

I was wondering how long it was going to take before someone chimed in and told this guy what we were all thinking. OP you need a attitude adjustment if your going to come on this web site and answer this group the way you have. We are all here to help one another with problem solving on these cars we love. If you have a question like you have had be nice to the members here who answer you and don't be a dick. If you cannot do that then maybe you might need to go somewhere else.

^^^^ Nailed it bro!! We don't need another "seth21" or "scotavo".... Bye bye... We're here to help, not to listen to obnoxious replies from someone who says they ALREADY know... I noticed his other thread about tire size went the same way..

Thanks. I get tired of the guys who come on this website and get an attitude like his. I wanted to say what I was really thinking but I tried to put it as nicely as possible. Now maybe if he has any questions he will be able to hold back the cocky attitude and we all here will be glad to answer or help with what ever problem he may have.
