500 miles. Is that a YEAR?
May as well get a Fathead poster of your car and hang it on the garage wall. Would be cheaper

I have State Farm Insurance, and keep it covered in full all year. The weather here is hit and miss. This has been a dry winter, for example, so I have had the car out a few times this season. It is insured as a "pleasure" vehicle, and I get a discount for 5k miles or less per year.

State Farm lets me drop my coverage down during winter months here in Chicago. Mine has been stored on the garage since Thanksgiving. Because the car is financed I have to provide a waiver to the bank claiming the vehicle is stored then provide proof that full coverage has been reinstated. I'll put about 5k miles a year on it.

yes you can get that coverage. its collector car insurance. you just have to find a company who will cover newer cars. I just keep comp on it during the winter. i have a mortgage um i mean loan on it.

It's 2 degrees here this AM but I would think nothing about taking my SS out for a spin as the roads are dry. After 4 1/2 years my near perfect Camaro is worth about half what I paid for it new.

Mines paid fit and collision dropped. No sense in wasting money on ins when I barely drive it. I. The future I may put it back on but as of right now? It might get driven 100 miles a yr. I miss driving it...

Mine is stored from Nov-April. I can drop everything except for comprehensive as it's financed. Unfortunately, here in the Peoples Republic of NY, you have to surrender your plates to DMV in order to do this. They will store custom plates, but regular plates are sent back and you are issued new ones in the spring. I have no idea why the state is broke, lol. Also, I put 5-7K miles per year on my 'garage queen'
