I miss the ricers.

Seriously they are a dying breed. They were at the height of their population at about F&F2. But since then, they have (to me anyways) appeared to be in a decline in population. Anytime I think I see a true ricer car, its always an older mexican guy driving, that probably got it dirt cheap from a former ricer because he couldnt sell it to anyone else. (before anyone pulls out the race card, my wife is hispanic...and we eat a lot of mexican food)

I really miss these guys and wonder what they are up too. We had this one guy who drove an accord with the plate "illegal" or along those lines, I used to crack on him all the time. I miss that, I miss the big wings, I miss them reving on every single car they see. Where did they go? Why are they in exile?

Maybe they all bought mustangs, because they have started popping up all over the place? But, I want my ricers back.

I think its because the focus of the last Fast and Furious movie was the American Muscle Car with the blower! They probably all did go buy V6 mustangs...lol

But they should still be cycling in new ricers that cant afford the real import cars yet. There should still be fartcan hodas racing in parking lots ect ect. Evos and WRX's are not really rice, as they actually perform. Given the evo 9 was a junk econobox stuffed with awd and a turbo, the idea actually worked for performance.

But where are the Hondas/ nissans/toyota corollas?

I hope nobody told them they were the jokes of the street.

The Subaru's are ok until they put those big ugly ass wing's on them, after they do that they go from ok to rice.

Maybe ricers finally figured out Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are terribly bad actors.

My area is still thick with JC Whitney catalog addicts with giant wings, unpainted body panels, coffee can exhausts and 10+hp stickers adorning unstreetworthy rattle traps. Now, to add to that, I get the pleasure of seeing mid 80's coupes with giant 24-32 inch wheels that cost 3 times the value of the car.Oh well..I guess the aftermarket has to eat too.

Sounds like the aftermarket is eating lobster and caviar!

Yep... I've noticed the same thing here... decline in the pesky little ricers and a big increase in the jacked up impala on 24 inch wheels... with the most bizarre bright paint jobs to match! LOL
