OK, what did I do? Opening door and locks..

Ok, I messed with some option and can't figure this one out. For some reason, I now have to pull my interior door knob twice to get it to open.

Also, for some reason, when I lock my doors from the key fob and come back (sometime hours later), the door is unlocked. What setting did I mess up? This one kind of worries me more than the first..

The interior door handle is not programmed, I suggest taking it in to the dealer and have them check it out, You may have a physical issue inside the door that needs to be cared for, this could be why your door is unlocked when you return. I am only guessing but when in doubt makea report wiht he dealer so at least it is recorded and noted if future issues arise.

When your door is locked: Pull the handle once, it unlocks. Pull the handle a second time, and the door opens.

I've never heard of a locked door unlocking itself: Take it back to the dealer.

I guess I never noticed it since the car was always unlocked when I went to open it. I may be trying to open it befor the car has a chance to unlock it after I turn the car on.

Check your radio configuration for vehicle locking options.

Reading the manual is no fun. I like trial and error.

But, when in doubt in this case, check the manual, and see the dealer. Of course the dealer may just open your glove box, grab the manual and start reading.

If you press the "Config" button on the radio, you can set up some vehicle features, like whether the doors lock when you put it in drive or not, or whether the car honks and flashes the lights at you when you hit the lock button on the key fob twice or not.

This is a fun little place to set up how you want your car to behave

I don't recall the OPs option question being in there. May either be a dealer computer thing or just a malfunction.

The pulling handle twice thing may be a option in the Config menu that he accidentally turned on.

The unlocking by itself seems like a malfunction though.

The unlocking could be due to the horrible key fob design. I had to quit leaving my keys in my pocket because either the doors would unlock or the trunk would be open when I went out to the car.

I mean really, how hard would it have been to recess the buttons?

Had the trunk pop open and have set off the panic alarm just having the keys in my pocket. Pulling handle twice is normal if the doors are locked

My panic alarm has gone off a couple times just from the keys being in my pocket. I've also come back to my car a couple times thinking "WTF... why is my trunk open??"

I thought the key fob was awesome, until I attached it to my keys and put it in my pocket... Now it's like a game to see if I can situate it so that no buttons get pressed accidentally by my other keys... :(
