Looks like that car has been sprayed (N2O) from his quote;

"I am sure I am missing some small components, but the final numbers rock and with the spray, the numbers are 770/760 (175 shot)"

That car has stories if you read through the carfax and the supplemental report

Same with the pictures... the cupholder has 2 philips head screws in it, the tpms light is on. Z/28 is a car that get expensive quick when fine details are overlooked
That's what I thought as well, I would pass unless I got it for some crazy cheap price
35k maybe

One popped up in TX, $47,999 with 14k miles I believe. Should have jumped on it, sold a day later. Another one sold in TX also. These are getting bought up by dealers I imagine and prices will just be too much for me. I'd like to keep my C5Z but it will be tough to afford both, but I hate to sell the vette. Having a Z/28 though would be sweet. I could keep the vette and possibly get a 5th Gen ZL1, but its not the same and in the end, I'd wish I had the Z/28.

I love my '03 Z06 track toy so yes, you need to keep that SW C5Z. And yes, having a Z/28 is sweet.

As a guy who lived the last 15 years in South Florida, we have a saying for buying cars... "Don't buy anything south of Broward Blvd" Lots of shady dealers, and scam artists in the area. The type who would sell you a car full of stop'-leak and say it had a freshly built motor. Anyone from South Florida can probably say that I'm not making that up either. You probably dodged a bullet there.

That's great to know, thanks!! I've seen deals down there and wondered about them.

I saw that recently and it peaked my interest, however I feel he's high on price. He's been reducing it rather quickly though so never know. I was thinking along $38k or so, maybe a little less in this market. Recent BaT sales on these cars with super low mileage have decreased a tad as well as most cars. Might just run a CarFax and think about it. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes sir! I have never lived down there, but visited. I'm on the central east coast , but yeah, I have heard that about the dealers and car salesmen doings down there. It's like you can't trust anybody down there. And I though you were from down there, Oakland Park right? You used to have that in your avatar. Boy you sure moved a long way from down there!! Gotta say though, good move on your part leaving there! My tuner/builder is down there in Oakland Park, and I hate driving down there for anything anymore!
