Stock Stereo Question?

I wouldn't want to replace the factory head unit. Are there any good (easy) upgrades that one could make to make the system sound better?

Basically, other than speaker count, what's the difference in systems between the BA system and the stock.

the BA system has non amplified head unit and an external amplifier, but frankly it is not very good.

with either system upgrade the speakers in the front doors a nd rear deck. I would not worrk about the center speaker if you have the BA system.

I would do speakers, but buy good speakers that could handle a decent amp if you think you need it later on.

Some of brands I would recommend would be Hybrid Audio Technologies Imagine series, Image Dynamics CTX series, Hertz Energy line. CDT, DLS, Dynaudio also make great stuff.

I have CDT's... I wouldnt recommend them personally. they sound amazing, but its taken a TON of time to get them tuned right.

IMO - best bang for the buck are the Phoenix Gold RSD65CS. They sound AWESOME and can be had for under 100.00 from Amazon as well as a bunch of other places.

I personally will be running the PPI 356cs which are amazing sounding... and were only around 130.00 for the pair.
