You don't need anything. However the catch can can be a very helpful thing for your car. Some people think they are a waste. Some swear by them. You can get any catch can you like however the most common ones used here I believe are elite or RX. I personally have the elite and love it. Side note: at a car show a few weeks ago we had a guy with a Chrysler show his car, he had a catch can made of clear poly so you could see the oil in there. Looked really sharp IMO |

I have Elite. I am very happy with it. Can not say for Apex... no experience with it.

I recommend Elite. Very easy to install, easy to empty. Do a search and you can find a very well made video that makes installation a breeze.

We've been using Elite catch cans for years. They are the original engineers behind the 3 chamber system. The Elite catch can is the one others have copied and imitated throughout the years.
