I wonder what via Z/28 blanks mean...is it the same wheels just in a prototype finish or is it a wheel that's using the Z/28's overall dimensions with the same offset but a totally different style? Can some one with wheel manufacturing knowledge please chime in with some insight of what this probably means.

So, found out a little more info on the Gran Turismo Award! Read below (cited from Playstation Blog):

"The Gran Turismo Awards at SEMA recognizes the best vehicles in five different categories: Best Hot Rod, Best Asian Import, Best European Import, Best Domestic Automobile, and Best Truck/SUV. After the five category winners are judged, one winner from each category is selected on performance and style by leading automotive media. From there, it falls to Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi to select the overall GT Awards “Best in Show” winner. Walking the show floor, Kazunori-san views each of the category winners and selects a vehicle that best represents the Gran Turismo brand; one that will be immortalized as a fully playable part of the Gran Turismo franchise for millions of fans around the world."

Man, we are going to have to find out which car got the ultimate prize!

So, no, I doubt this car will be in GT5, as the NEW release date is 11/24. BUT who knows, I bet whichever car gets immortalized will be downloadable content.

This is just a short video that highlights Dr. Jamie Meyer from General Motors Performance Parts, discussing with Aaron Pfadt, the implications of the Camaro SSX and the Corvette Z06X race cars.

I apologize for the poor audio quality, the background noise is overwhelming in the SEMA main hall. But its worth taking a peek as to the future for GMPP and Pfadt being the sole manufacture for suspension performance packages. It is very clear that this is but a small step in the big picture!

Bump:
Obviously much work went into lowering the mass of the SSX but does anyone know the curb weight of the SSX, tried search both here and on google but no concrete numbers came up.

Thanks

Heyy your white camaro looks so nice. I love how you have the headlights and grill front part outline painted black. I have a white one as well, and would really like to do that. What kind of paint is that? And where can I get that done and how much? Thank you.
