Kooks Long Tubes Catless CEL

I Need some advice from all of you that have done my mods. I have a 2013 ZL1 with a Roto-Fab CAI. Just had a set of Kooks long tubes installed without cats and had it tuned. My CEL came on. The tuner said it was the 02 sensors. We replaced them cleared the codes but the Light just came back on 😑 I’ll stop by the shop on Monday to have them check it out. Any ideas???

They're P0420 and P0430, right, because there are no cats on the Long Tubes. You
need the spacers or spacer mini-cats to clear that up. The REAR sensors are reading
the same as the front sensors because there are no cats. The shop can't clear them
away, and neither can you. They will come right back on with the readings they are
getting without the cats on the car.

Or you can also just fix it in the tune. I'm surprised the shop doesn't know how to do that.

Your tuner should know to turn off the rear o2 sensors. If he doesn’t know that maybe you should take it to somebody else.

All the advise above is correct. You can program ECM to turn off the rear O2 Sensors and that will eliminate the problem right away.
