Tpms relearn procedure

Hey guys I have a 2010 Camaro SS. I can't seem to get my car into the learning process for the tpms. I'll go to the tire pressure settings but can't press the set/CLR button. Well I can but nothing happens.

I guess the front right sensor went out. Is that keeping the system from relearning? I went to discount tire and the guy said that the tool that it has says that the car has to go into the relearn program so that he could set it

Try this:

The TPMS matching process is outlined below:

1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON/RUN with the engine off.
3. Go to the TPM vehicle information screen on the DIC. See Driver Information Center (DIC) on page 4-27. Press set to relearn the sensors. The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode and Tire Learning Active message displays on the DIC screen.
4. Start with the driver side front tire.
5. Remove the valve cap from
the valve stem. Activate the TPMS sensor by increasing or decreasing the tire’s air pressure for 10 seconds, or until a horn chirp sounds. The horn chirp, which can take up to 30 seconds to sound, confirms that the TPMS sensor identification code has been matched to this tire position.
6. Proceed to the passenger side front tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
7. Proceed to the passenger side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
8. Proceed to the driver side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 5.
9. After hearing the confirming horn chirp, for the driver side rear tire, the horn sounds two more times to signal the tire learning mode is no longer active. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK/OFF.
10. Set all four tires to the recommended air pressure level as indicated on the tire and loading information label.
11. Put the valve caps back on the valve stems.

Disconnect the battery for a bit, then reconnect it and try again if it doesn't work the first time. Good luck.

Sensor probably has dead battery (just a guess). They don't last forever

The thing is I can't start the learn process. Idk if it's because I have a bad sensor or what

Ive pressed and released, pressed down for up to 30 sec and still nothing. I actually went to discount tire the first day that it happened and the guy there said that the car had to go into the relearn procedure in order for him to fix it. I'll probably go back

hi, has anyone tried to perform relearn procedure when the car is lifted?
1 of the sensors was damaged, replaced but there is a problem with matching the sensors to the wheels and I still get tpms error..

The tried to code them with computer but still nothing - it's annoying to see this yellow light on the dashboard all the time

I hope someone catches this...stupid question of the day coming right up.

When you follow the matching procedure does it set at the tire pressure you have set?

Example, if you had Nittos which is dealers choice on the pressure, if you set at 40psi, will the car learn that 40psi is your base pressure?

If this really is a stupid question...I’m asking for a friend. Because his tire attention light keep coming on.

Matching just sets the wheel position on the car, such as left front.
