photos from a professional shoot
a friend of mine asked if i wanted some quick pics taken of my car while they were shooting his supra on top of a parking deck in phoenix and of course i said yes (even though my car wasn't very clean)... they snapped a few for me and i moved out of the way so they could get back to work but this is what i got! much appreciation to the very skilled photographer and krookid photography :headband:
if wanted i can ask for some of the other pics that were taken of a few of my friends cars, badass pics including the supra, gt2 ect.. let me know what you guys think, the good or bad Last edited by beasstmode; 11-09-2014 at 09:02 PM. |

You have an Awesome car. And ONLY since you asked about what we think good or bad. I'll say I'm surprised a Pro Photographer did this. The black building behind the parking deck cuts off the top of the car, second the concrete is all washed out. But what do I know, I'm only an amateur. Check out my thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=358592

I agree with the above assesment. Car is great but the photography is very weak.

Well maybe it's just me but after seeing the first pic and looking at it for a good 10 seconds, I was really impressed on how sinister and evil the Camaro looks.
So then you follow up with the rest of the pics and they seem to kind of fall flat. That's just my humble opinion. |

yeah i agree, having a black car wasn't the best background for MY car.. i was just a last minute addition. the other cars were white and yellow so they look great imo.. thanks for the input guys

If your car was farther away from the wall and a little more elevation with the camera it would have worked.

Heh, like the others I love the car, but a professional...really?
I guess so, as the Oakland Raiders are also a professional Football team. This 'pro' photographer hasn't a clue.

Hope you did not pay for the photo shoot, a professional would know to have contrast in the background and to us the proper lighting, car looks great but it's tough to see the top of it with the black background

Did you read what I wrote, or just look at the pics and start posting? It states the shoot was for a friend's car.. that is white. My car was just added in just because I was there and he was nice enough to shoot a few for me. No I didn't pay for them, just nice enough to appreciate him taking the time to snap a few pics for me while he was working on something else.. but again, thanks for the input guys

Free is Free. I don't care if the photographer is an expert, or just purchased the camera yesterday. If the client likes the pictures, that is all that matters. So OP, if you like your pictures of your car, that is great. Could they been improved upon, definitely so. Shooting a black car at night is not an easy task and takes a little skill in understanding light/reflections and composition.
