Lifters Opinion
I just installed my NightFury Cam, BTR Chromoly Pushrods & BTR Platinum Spring Kit but before I put everything back together I decided I might as well get new lifters just to have the extra insurance. I’ve been deciding on Johnson or Comp Cams Lifters but not too sure what to go with. Opinions & link site for your lifters opinion so I can check them out please, thank you!

Replaced mine with factory lifters when I did my heads/cam swap. Zero issues, and on a different cam now.

When I did my cam/heads swap, I just put in a new set of GM LS3/LS7 lifters.
They are (relatively) inexpensive, and probably work just fine for 99% of applications. Looked at other brands for about 30 seconds before deciding the difference in money was better spent elsewhere.

Gm performance LS7 lifters FTW. Half the price of others and just a reliable. I've seen these spun to 7500 plus on a daily basis

We often use GM racing lifter, part # 88958689. More expensive but worth it.

Tested to 8k rpm. I didn't even know these were an option.

I went with Johnson on my stroker build this time. Used the GMPP LS7s on my last L99 CAM...

I have been thinking of going with the GM racing lifter as well, i hear alot of good things. All i need it some new valve springs seats seals and locks, along with the lifters and my heads are fully built. I went with ZZP for my pushrods, and trunion upgrade kit which was installed when i did my cam.
