I was talking to one of my coworkers and we were thinking about the Green Valley Ranch Casino. It is not on strip but a great property with lots to do. They have an awesome upperdeck for parking and we could call ahead to their buffet. It is like $20 a person and they have wonderful hot/cold crab legs 7 nights a week.

Thoughts?

about how far from the strip is it? or better yet how far from the hard rock?

cause i know a few of us wont have our cars so it will be taxi or hoove'n it

its 11 miles from the strip in henderson it should take about 20 min. to get there... its a station so its got the feast buffet... i haven't tried that one but so far the best feast buffet is at the red rock!!! it sounds like a lot of people are staying down on the strip... the world buffet at the Rio is half off for locals mon. through thurs. too bad we couldn't get a deal for everyone!!! besides that place is a zoo!!!

Thats a great buffet. I need to find out about getting an area where we could all park together. What about the Orleans? Its just off strip on Tropicana and they have a decent buffet. We could park out back the arena?

After we eat we can go bowling (if the bowling alley is still in the hotel) to work off our meals
