Inside wheel well modification. Odd offset.

What is that plastic liner on the inside of the wheel well called? (Toward the center of the car not the part surrounding the diameter of the wheel.)

Is there some way to modify that so my wheel does not rub it or should I get a spacer??

Anything wrong with running a spacer in a drap application?

If I get a spacer do I need different (deeper?) lugs?

Thanks all. It's sad but I know more about engines than wheels.. lol.

Pretty much. I'll try to get the exact number sometime this week. Spacers are safe for drag?

Just doing an estimate from memory of it's mesurments. I think the offset is +64 ish.

I had the backspacing widened by 2"s and have no way of making it more concave w/o killing the looks.

That plastic part is called the frnderwell liner, and behind it is the frame supports for the car. Short of doing a mini tub there is no way to increase the space back there.
