Hello all...about to undertake the entire stereo upgrade process. Can anyone please tell me the easiest way to upgrade/run new speaker wires to the front doors?
Thanks!!

You won't need to upgrade the wiring for better or more wattage speakers.
It's not the same as wiring power to an amplifier, needing larger gauge
wire for power and ground. It doesn't necessarily work that way for speaker
leads.

If you do, you need to go through that bulkhead connector, and it won't be
easy. I find a spot or two that does not have pins, and I will router them out
with a drill bit or small flat screwdriver. Then I can pass wires through. You
will need silicone spray to get them through the boot, into the door. It can
be done, it's just time consuming.

i put the crossovers behind the door panel and just ran new wires from there, about 6 feet 1 to the new tweeter 1 to the mid/woofer. i tied my 150 watt RMS old school rockford fosgate into the factory speaker wires at the stock amp.worked like a champ.normally the factory wire is best it is already there and routed so it don't pick up noise.i also use these products. all can be had on amazon or if you buy you speakers on crutchfield they give you everything with the speakers except for the boom mat the b-mat keeps your new speakers from getting wet when it rains i have used them for years and in quite a few installs.

Fitted front and rear with mid-range, tweeters and cross-overs, and ran heavy OFC cable to everything but the tweeters. Removed doors, drilled holes in A-pillar and door to fit rubber door jamb boots (not easy to find) as in photo.
