15 Conversion Daily Driving

Has anyone done the 15 inch conversion and drive the car on a daily basis with it? I'm looking at doing the 15 inch conversion with 17 fronts with race stars. The 15s will be a drag radials but I'm curious as to if anyone else is driving this with more than just track sessions?

I've made 5hr trips with my 15" conversion. On Drag radials also and skinnies up front. Is it safe? Yes and no. I will tell you avoid driving in the rain it gets slippery real fast.

I drive mine to the track and tuner 1.5hrs away with 17" drag radials and skinnies and just bought 15" rears. Dont see why the 15 would be any different. Like already said rain is scary and dont take turns fast

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Are you running the 1.4 springs in the rear to get the car to sit level after the conversion?

Are you running the stock front springs?

Yeah my car has always been a 4 x 4, and after the conversion I gained a little height.

I have stock springs up front, but am doing 1.0 lower in front this week. Again my car has always been a high rider.
