Console leather trim

I have been working on my console in stages. Unfortunately if you plan on doing this then do it all at once. Stage one was the Napa leather added to the main console which I lined up perfectly with the stitching on the factory cover that I had purchased. Stage two came about after I replaced my steering wheel and dash insert with Alcantra trim. When I installed the leather on the cover it does not line up. The distance between the stiching was the same front to back. Not sure if I like it or not yet.

I am thinking about removing about 4" from the center console and realign it. If that fails I can always get new console leather half Napa and half Alcantra to match. Practice makes perfect haha!

If anyone was interested here is the follow up. I had left enough leather tucked up under the console during phase one to peel back a few inches a realign to the new center box cover.
