Changing Bulbs?

Anyone have any idea how hard it is going to be to change the bulbs?

Reason I ask, on the 2007 and up Avalanches, they made all of the front lights a trip to the dealership. Getting to the headlights, fog lights, parking lights, DRL's means taking most of the front bumper off and removing a large portion of the front of the truck.

From what I saw of the Camaro, it looks like it could be the same way. Looking in the engine compartment it looked like the back of the front grille was pretty much off limits.

The HID's I wouldn't expect I would need to access often, if at all, but I'd like to swap out the parking light bulbs myself when they burn out.

Anyone with one of the early Camaros have any experience with this? Is there a Camaro manual floating around anywhere yet?

Pulling the bumper out sounds hard, but really isn't. You don't even have to take it out all the way. The Camaro looks like you have to pull the fuse box or the air box to get at them depending on which side is out. 3 bolts and couple connectors isn't too bad. It takes a long time for bulbs to go bad anyways. Car manufacturers do odd things that make working on them harder than normal. I blame non-ergonomically inclined engineers.

You should try hondas, you got to go through the fender well sometimes.

Theres no need for a trip to the dealer to change lights in the new trucks. It took me all of an hour to completly change both headlights on my 08 and thats with putting the halos on a seperate switch. It shouldnt be to hard to change bulbs on the new camaro unless you have no clue how to use a screw driver and a socket.

I would also like to know what the standard head lights are like... The only thing I really want the RS package for is the head lights, but IDK if dishing out the extra money for them is that worth it.

Both #3 and HeatherR said the standard headlights were more than good enough.
It will take the H13 bulb and a pair of Philips X-treme power bulbs should make them really good.

Is there a list of what the bulbs are for; Low beams (SS), Fogs, and turn signals front and rear.

Hope to find in owners manual. But Car is in shop.
