Stage 2 Turbonetics kit

Sorry for waking this thread up guys, resurrection can sometimes bring good news!

I'll be lying if I told you some one else has the kit.. because that some one is me!!!

I got the ok to open my big mouth from tnetics hahaha
Kit is awesome!! makes big numbers too! more than my drivin skills can handle anyways

So whats new!? its a 75/75 instead of the 76/68 the kit comes with.
doesnt seem like much but holly shit!!! first its a billet 75, and to fix backpresure the exhaust side is now a 75 aswell.

So! to the good stuff!! numbers so far at 9psi, with a cam, stock bottom end on 93 oct.

Stage 2 Turbonetics kit Details

Here is a quick Video of my dumb ass getting pulled over
I was feathering the gas for obvious reasons, Public Street. A completely stealth cop, not even a black and white car turned out to be a county sheriff!!!
No ticket but man that was close... that will teach me.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as availability you can order it now!!
You can upgrade your existing kit or order the state 2 as kit.

Few things you should know.
-It’s a straight bolt on to the existing kit.
-wastegates valves need to be replaced or upgraded. (wastegate itself is not physically bigger)
-Re-tune
-NOT-CARB certified. This is more of a race package.
-the stage two kit does not include injectors and does not come with a tune.

More power = more fuel. Supporting mods are needed and not included.

For more details contact Reggie at Turbonetics

This kit is unfortunately not yet available for 2013 & 2014

But they are working on it; in fact there is a forum user that has the prototype kit installed and working flawlessly. CARB thing takes forever!!!

nice! what kind of cam do you have? I made 620 @ 9 psi on a dynojet a couple weeks ago. I was going to order a 7575, went pt8847 instead.

those are nice numbers!!!
I don't think I will leave the car at 9psi. too much for crappy 91 pump gas here in Cali. I don't want my engine to go BOOM!!
current tune works well on 93 do. if you lucky to live in one of those states.
The cam was custom ground by CompCams they called it a hybrid Cam. straight from their R&D department. worked well without the turbo. has a nice chop to it at idle. at the same time when the car was boosted it performed well with the turbo setup as well.

Thanks. 93 does help, so does water/meth inj. I'm currently finishing up my squash twin pump set up. I want to take it back to the dyno one more time before changing the turbo out. I'm curious to see what preturbo backpresdure will be at higher boost.

water/meth works great! i just don't trust the system. some people tune off meth and activate it when they want it. idk
twin pumps will keep you pressure nice and steady, thats awesome. sounds like your doing it right!

1.6:1 back-pressure, with JBA straight pipes no resonators X pipe and flowmaster 40 series exhaust. also dumping the wastegates to atmosphere. thing is crazy loud! before the turbo I had longtubes and it sounded bad ass!!
backpressure issue was almost completely eliminated. car spools really quick.
I honestly only feel lag from a dead stop in first gear. under the right gear/speed and above 2k rpms I don't feel nothing but bone crushing g-force lol Im really happy with the way this kit turned out. feels nothing like my friends camaro.

Ones you swap your turbo keep us updated hehehe

My set up is similar to yours. JBA straight pipes, flowmaster outlaw zl1 twin tip/muffler exhaust, and wastegates dumped. It is loud and sounds awesome when the wastegates open up. I saw your vid, car sounds good. Keep us updated on your progress. I'll do the same.

No time slips in the Mexican highway drag league . Still on a stock clutch, stuck the pedal to the floor when I went to the track. Mcleod RXT is my next mod, before the turbo goes in.
