INCREADIBLE!!!
Ok...this does it for me. I know it's not completed and all...and I've been "keeping the faith", okay. But, those last snow pix in Detroit weren't doing too much for me. I was happy to see them, but they sure as heck didn't blow me away like ANY pix of the concept. They were just, "okay." But now, ... uh ... WOW! What a GREAT shot too! Finally, like someone else had said, SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO USE A CAMERA!!! Loving the wheels. Calipers look great as well. Yup...there's that gas...filler...door....wow. That front scoop does look cut open and it does look functional. It does appear, however, that the camo bra on the hood is tucked under the front of the hood in between the opening (between the hood and front facia) which makes it appear as though the vent is closed. I think it's open. I really can't wait to see how the front end is going to look on the production model....halos, grill, bowtie and all. God, is it going to be great! Finally!!! SOME GOOD PHOTOS!!!! Thank you everyone on the GM team! It's looking BEAUTIFUL!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! Now cut open those d@mn rear vents......................... |

I'm really excited with how many spy-shots we're getting!! I am so happy with how the pre-pro is coming along...I don't even know what to say...I could almost ( + )...there's no cry for joy smiley!? Anyway, I noticed the B-pillar...yeah it SEEMS a little heftier, but then again...it's a different angle, it still has various forms of camo on it...so who knows. Personally, I don't care at all about the B-pillar...I'd rather have that then some of those stupid port holes on the mustang...I think that they look rediculous. Oh, and I was taking a closer look at the scoop in the front fascia and it almost looks like the "bra" (or whatever's on the hood) is tucked down behind the scoop Who knows!? Take a look! It's probably not actually open, but it could be Just another guy's perspective

HAHAHA, my bad!! I completely missed that... Well, in that case, I completely AGREE with your statement! It just goes to show that I shouldn't be posting at 2 AM and that I should be in bed...sleeping!

I agree with TAG. to me it looks like the scoop might be a functional one. its seems that the hood cover is tucked in, which makes it seems like its not cut out. look at the stretch marks on the cover.
Plus, if its not cut out, what the point? if its not fucntional, it will very obvious.

I definitely agree with Tag and Omega that the scoop is open, but obscured by the camo on the hood. With the high clarity of the picture, this is the first time I can really tell that the hard, crisp edges of the concept made it to production. Also, about the lights, I'm wondering if the main lamp and the turn signal will actually remain switched on the production. What I mean is, the Auto Zone lights indicate that the turn signal has been moved to the inside of the lamp.
And does anyone else get almost a Delorean vibe from the camo on the C-pillar? Makes me wanna see what Doc Brown could do to the camaro. Oh, and I am so diggin those rims and brakes. After enduring the 15 inchers and drum brakes on my Cherokee for so long, I can't wait to have 20's with disc brakes. |
