Ontario emissions and catless long tubes
Who’s running catless? Any issues with the smog police? What you do about emission tests? Just a few questions I have before I pull the trigger on a set of pipes... with a tune can you still pass today’s joke of an etest since it’s just obd2 plug in test?? Thanks guys

As long as you get a tune and don't have codes flashing and lights on the dash you will be fine.
I was nervous, but everything was good.

my car is catless and makes 730 rwhp. I went for emissions last year and while it was in the bay, me and the guy doing the test were getting teary eyed from the fuel fumes and it passed lol. tuned of course. but luckily i had a guy who was into cars and didnt look for cats (he def knew) just didnt care as long as there are no CEL

Ya I know as long as the cel lights off and the drive cycle is completely will pass (obviously with a tune ) I am just wondering if any of the shops have said anything about the added smell of performance lol. And if anyone’s had any issues in the street with random inspections like the diesel guys get pinched with some times

I had my inspection done at Canadian Tire. Easy. I was somewhat nervous about the no cats but I made sure everything was up to temp before taking it in. Ran her good that day. All they said is they loved the car and it bucked like a horse because of the cam when they drove it in the shop.

You could always just punch the guts out of the cats so it looks like they are still there.
Instead of putting a straight pipe to replace them. The only way to tell is to take the exhaust apart. Or smell??
