flex fuel kit on 2010 ss
Hey all Camaro greats !! Hope everyone is having wonderful holidays . I am getting cammed next week . Nothing crazy . Fairly mild cam . I have a 2010 SS L 99 . Was thinking of running a flex fuel kit . Tuner mentioned that’ I will need to upgrade to a zl1 fuel pump . I am personally not sure so wanted to get some
Input from anyone that has any knowledge . I have the zl1 injectors I purchased from a. Forum member . But wanted a little more info on the flex fuel kit needing to upgrade to a zl1 fuel pump .

You will need a bigger pump than stock. I ran a zl1 pump and it was good on e85 at 480rwhp. At just over 500 I was dropping fp

flex fuel kit on 2010 ss
All you’re going to need is zl1 injectors, zl1 fuel pump, and the flex fuel sensor. I was told the zl1 fuel pump and injectors are good for up to 550 rwhp. If you’re planning on pushing more power in the future I would get even better injectors and a fuel pump. I also opted for an ADM FPCM. It wasn’t needed, but I just got it just in case.

Sounds great so far gentlemen . Now I have to find someone selling one for a decent price ������. And last question is it worth spending the money to update the pump and flex fuel kit in terms of whp gains for a NA car .

I would upgrade the pump if you’re going to run E85. My tuner told me before that if you’re going to stay basic bolt ons only then the stock pump is fine with E85. You’re going to have more done to the car after the cam so I would just upgrade the fuel pump if you’re going to run flex fuel.
