Side Markers/Rear Lights Tint/Cosmetic mods

Good morning,

I have read several threads and product websites and I cannot decide what is the best route to go and need input/advise:

1) Cheaper Route--Do I buy side marker and taillight tints and call it good?

2) Go with Oracle or brand x plug and play?

What other cosmetic mods would you do to make her stand out?

Trying to understand cost benefit as my car will be on displayed this spring at the World Wheels.

PX's attached

All advise inputs Welcomed...Thanks

Nice looking car, you've already done some nice cosmetics. If you have decided on tinted side markers or tail lights, and you are showing the car, I would definitely go with replacements rather than tinted covers or decals. Some off the products don'y cover the lenses 100% or are noticeable. Replacements give a cleaner look. For a car being shown the extra dollars are worth it. Good luck.

I replaced my taillights and 3rd brake lights with the GM smoked ones. I replaced the rear bumper reflectors with smoked ones as well. Diode Dynamic side markers and LED upgrade for my turn signals, backup lights and license plate lights. If my car was red I might have kept the factory ones though as they don't stand out on your car like they did on my nightfall grey metallic car.
A front lip extension and ZL1 side skirts in gloss black would make your car stand out and look a lot more aggressive.

The Diode Dynamics side markers are really nice. They look good on or off.

Nicktechla's car looks great!

OP, don't cheap out especially if you think your car is worthy of being shown off. You can easily get the American Authority ones for $80 and they look great. I should also note that when you just slap tint on the stock ones you lessen the brightness too and that makes you less visible to the bozos driving around near your car...I for one want all bad drivers to see me easily.

If you are showing your car, dig into American Authority and their products. They have a long line of products that suit some folks tastes (not everyone's of course), a lot of which are on my car. If you have any questions or would like a discount code to use with them, just send me a message.

Take a peek at my build journal to see the parts --> https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=519264

What Ryan said and dark tails and 3rd from GM parts guy. Don't forget the 3rd flashy flashy relay from DIY5. Got mine from wild hammer

To each his own but I'd not tint. I'd not cut my springs either...

Here’s a before and after on the taillights. Went with GM smoked lights and changed to the black bow tie. The DD side markers are high quality and I’m very happy with the look. I also put a dark tint film over the lower reflectors just above the tailpipes.
