It could be, but don't think it would be ZR1 power levels if it is. And so much for everyone saying the ZO6 had replaced the ZR1.

Maybe the new ZR1 shares the same powerplant as the ZL1 and ZO6 but is a track pack now

which would be disappointing, the last 2 ZR variants had bespoke ZR specific engines. The last ZR1 ran an LS9 which no other Chevy product used and the C4 ZR-1 utilized the LT5, which again, only the ZR1 used. I guess we'll find out.

My speculation: It won't have more HP than the Z06, but will be aimed at being a pure-track car, much like the Z/28 was for the Camaro in the 5th gen. High-revving, mid-500's HP V8 with all of the car's excess weight removed, some aggressive aerodynamics, and a suspension stiff enough to break your back...at least that's what I'd like to see

Possibly some new venting on the rear for a trans or diff cooler is my guess but who knows why the rear is camo'd. Also agree on the vents up front, huge and I wanna know what's behind them lol

I'm still thinking it's the updated Z06. We haven't seen the new hood or fascia for the Z06, so they are probably still working on it. They may have a new aero option as well.
