Suede Package for SS and 2SS

Does anyone else like the idea of Chevy introducing a suede package to the SS and 2SS trims? Including: Suede steering wheel, shift knob, and shift boot. Estimated Price: $350

Suede is typically only available with the 1le package. The suede package would apply to any automatic or manual SS or 2SS trim.

The 2014 Camaro car customizer is still unavailable. Maybe this suede package can be designed and introduced in time.

A suede dash and door panels would also be a great option.

I thought that was the 1LE package. Am I mistaken?

The 1LE package includes suede and many other options for $3500. Only the ZL1 has the suede package option for $500.

There is no suede package for the SS that I'm aware of outside of the ZL1 or the 1LE.

OP knows that, he asked if it would be a good idea if GM offered it as an option to the 1SS and 2SS.

I'd like to hear from someone that sorta daily drives their suede mobile to tell us how the suede is holding up. In AZ, people are sweaty, not sure if the suede is durable? Anyone?

Exactly! A suede package for the 1SS and 2SS with the suede parts shown.

If the suede shift boot for the automatic cannot be executed then there should be two packages with different prices.

mine looked like smashed turd cakes until i cleaned it yesterday. the suede holds alot of crud in it the you cant see until you clean it. took me 2 hours to get it back to new. I would not want it on my seats at all. But why pay $500 for it when you can just buy the steering wheel and shifter here on the site for less

Include suede and leather combo seat covers in burgundy and black, so that they match the exterior of my RJT and I'd be interested.

Burgundy suede does sound appealing, especially to match with the exterior paint color.

Navy suede would also be an attractive option.
