Just got done installing a stage 4 btr cam. I spent alot of time researching how to do the install. I did reference the guide on this forum as much as needed and it helped alot with torque specs. Tune was done by dynosteve from rdp on the sct x4. Now I just need to get used to driving it.

what does it idle at and what rpm does it take to leave from a stop? Mr. Steve will be doin the same fer me some time in the future...did you have to do any data loggin?

It idles around 950. I'm still playing with the start from a stop rpms but around 1500 is the best. Clutch is your friend.

fu*k yeah! take it easy fer a bit (LOL-RIGHT?) and let that B settle in...was this just a straight cam stab in with a spring kit? I need to order the misc items and then...

hope this weather clears in time for this Sat. first T&T of the year at my track..would like to get in one more season as is...and then let all hell break out! peace bro..

I haven't really beat on it much. Just one highway 3rd gear pull and I was impressed. I did cam/springs/push rods 3 bolt timing gear and ls2 tensioner and fluids. Did the labor myself. I think I was into it right about $875

Sounds great . May as well start pricing a new HP clutch , your going to be needing one soon.

I think your right. There seems to be alot of choices. Kinda curious what to go with. I've heard monster, McLeod. But no clue what will be best.

Is it really that much different from a stop? How much cam surge or bucking are you getting while cruising?

It does sound good, NPP sounds good with a healthy cam!

I have long tube headers with magnaflow bullets. Parking lots are a pain as well is stop and go traffic. 1500 rpms or less it buck8 pretty bad. Could be my fault tho.

I can do 65mph in 6th gear pretty well and no issues.
