Guys with TT kit setup please input your opinion
I have the hellion tt kit with cam and my motor is stock, my problem seem to be having to much oil feeding to the turbos (ihave a upgrade oil pump) because I notice I have oil in my intercooler pipping. My turbo was rebuild about a year ago, and right after I install the aftermarket oil pump this happen. Have anyone have this problem before and how did you fix it. Thanks

Is it smoking? Typically, if you're feeding too much oil, or not returning it quickly enough, it will get on the hot side as well as the cold. Hence the reason it would be smoking. On my old Talon turbo, when I switched over to a T3/T4, my return line wasn't enough to drain adequately and it smoked like a freight train.
If this is your problem, they sell restriction pills that you can put inline to restrict oil flow. I'm sure Hellion would be able to help you out.

What size are your feed and return lines, is the return line routed correctly so it can flow freely into the pan?

You likely need oil feed restrictors. Pretty common on engines that have high oil pressure.

I assume the turbos are low mounted and require a scavenge pump ? If so, what pump, is it working correctly etc etc ? Is this a new problem or has it always been a problem ? Have you spoken to Hellion or whoever supplied/installed the kit ? What is the oil pump you refer to, and why was it changed ? And does the smoke problem occur after driving for a while, on boost, or only after a period of shutdown ? |

I have a turbowerx scavenge pump only time it smoke is when it build boost, once in boost the smoke clear away, the oil pump that I replace was the original one in the motor due to the problem of people having the low oil pressure message on the display
