I wasn't expecting it until later this week. What a great Monday!!!!

I got to drive it off the showroom floor. I did ask them to remove the dealer stickers.

Can you tell I am happy in that one picture????

Last one...... safe at home.

Well, one thing happened today. It rained on the way home a little, so I can't ever say it's never seen rain.

The car drove so great! This was the first time I've driven one. I found the skip shift not too intrusive at all. I of course was easy on it, but even so, it felt so powerful! The ride was very quiet until you got on it a little. I got lots of looks. It was so funny seeing people just staring!! This feeling is a first for me. I thought the radio sounded great, but keep in mind I'm no audiophile. I love the sunroof. My other two cars don't have one. I love the chopped roof feeling. I just need to get my spot mirrors now. I was planning on getting them in a couple days, but hey, I'll manage I guess.

I surprised my son when I picked him up from daycare. He was looking all around for one of our other cars. Once he saw the Camaro, he knew it was ours. He was all smiles on the way, just like me.

I just like my Pilot too much. I got back from a trip to Atlanta where I was driving around 80mph the whole way with A/C and still got 23mpg.

I will say that if/when I have to replace it, I will certainly be shopping what GM has to offer. The 2009 Pilot is butt F'n UGLY.

I wanted so bad to put some miles on it today, but just after I picked it up, they said our area was under a severe thunderstorm warning. I could just see a repeat of last Friday, hail in parts of the city and even a water spout/tornado!!

When I heard that, I picked up my son and took it home ASAP
