I was highly amused at this. I found it on a forum after doing a google on engine power reduced.

OK they are going to replace the throttle, hope to have the part in today!

So I hope this gets it fixed and no more problems!

Well, this just happened to me to this afternoon. Saw the check engine light, I was like.. ok crap but my car was running fine. So I called my local dealer to bring it in on Monday.

I took my car out to meet some friends at a bar and the check engine was still on, I was at the bar a few hours and when I started my Camaro up, the Engine Power Reduced came on and the TCS light went on and I could hear the engine not sounding right.

So I shut off the engine and waited a couple of minutes, turned it back on and the TCS light went away and the engine sounded normal again but the Check engine light was still there. I just got home and checked out the forum and see someone else got this issue.

I don't have any driving plans this weekend so I will be ok until Monday and hopefully it's something minor. I have 4900 miles on it and no rain here, just snow and it's a V6 Automatic.

I will advise when I hear more but will watch this thread to see how it goes with you guys.

*Update*- I'm an idiot, had I looked in Sept, I would have saw the Servicing for the HVAC, my Camaro falls in that range. The Service guy mentioned the "recall" and I was like... I'm an idiot. So it's being worked on now and getting my radio software updated, that I knew I needed to update and a free Car wash. I'm all good.

Ok they installed a new throttle and i got my car back last Thursday, and I have had no problems so far!

Well other than the 4 inches on snow on Firday!

OK, happened again tonight. It rained today so that may have triggered it again. Funny thing, it was in the dealers just two days ago, just like last time.

No problems here. Atleast warranty will fix it. You'll probably just not have your baby for a while.

Batmaro went to the shop to see about getting the APPS fixed. I am having them put on my new HAVOC wheels while it's there. Guess I'll have to fall back on the old ride until Batmaro comes back.

The dealer replaced the accelerator pedal yesterday. I test drove it to Vegas and back. No problem so far but it hasn't been in the rain yet.
